The Gyanti Devi Seva & Humanity Award is instituted by Shreeja Foundation Trust to recognise individuals and groups whose selfless service has made a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

The award celebrates the spirit of seva — quiet, consistent, compassionate work that often goes unnoticed but changes lives.

Eligibility

Who can be nominated

  • Individuals, volunteers, social workers or groups
  • Demonstrated service in education, healthcare, social welfare, environment, women & child welfare or humanitarian work
  • Service carried out with integrity and without personal gain
  • Self-nominations and nominations by others are both welcome
Selection Process

How awardees are chosen

  1. NominationSubmit the nomination form with details of the nominee's service.
  2. ScreeningNominations are reviewed for completeness and eligibility.
  3. VerificationThe work described is verified through references and records.
  4. Jury DecisionA selection committee finalises the awardees.
  5. CeremonyAwardees are honoured at the award ceremony.
